I was, of course, intrigued by all of the glitz and glamour, but more than that I always loved watching the reaction of the guests upon entering these fabulous events, it was in fact, my favorite part, and it still is!
And now….I get to help create lasting memories for you and your family!.”
I am a native of Oakland, California, born and raised and as a child, I always dreamed of a career that would allow me to use my creative talents and I have always loved any discipline that required the use of that creativity.
As a young adult, I eventually went on to study interior design but soon discovered that I also enjoyed the satisfaction of creating social experiences, particularly the look and feel of the event. Realizing that I could incorporate the cornerstones of interior deign with my love for social events, I decided to launch my own event design firm and name it, well, after me! And just like that “K. Jacob Events” was born.
My goal with any event is to tap into a “feeling” for you, our client. Not just throw a party but create an “experience”.
While aesthetic is obviously important, it is our experience, that people tend to associate a memory with how they felt at that moment in time. It is because of this, that I strive to create memories that will evoke those same emotions, year after year, whether that be your wedding day or a birthday celebration, the goal is the same.
